Providing & erecting 4 rope wire rope safety fence barrier consisting of 4 tensioned galvanized steel wire ropes supported by galvanized steel posts of ‘S’ or ‘Z’ section. One upper rope is located within a central slot in the top of the posts and three ropes interwoven along the adjacent posts. The ropes are joined and tensioned by means of rigging screws in accordance with B.S 4429 and the ends of the ropes are attached to anchors embedded in the ground. The Steel posts shall be as per IS2062, 5 mm thick ‘S’ or ‘Z’ shaped galvanized mild steel with a standard section of 100mm x 55 mm x 5 mm and wire rope shall have a diameter of 19 mm with construct in 3x7 (i.e.7 wires in a strand and 3 strands in each rope), being three strands spun coreless, each strand comprising six wires spun around one king wire having tensile grade of 1370 N/mm2 with a minimum break load of 17.7 tons. The rope shall be factory pre-stressed until it is in an elastic condition. The top wire shall be at 930 +/- 30 mm from ground level and the second wire shall be at 790 +/- 30 mm, third wire shall be at 640 +/- 30 mm and fourth wire at 500 +/- 30 mm as per the drawing attached and the posts shall be spaced at 3.2 mtr centre to centre. All posts need to be embedded in concrete of minimum in M 25/M-30 grade concrete in a pit of 300 mm wide x 700 mm deep size. Anchor pit shall be of 2 mtr. wide x 2 mtr long x 1 mtr. deep.
